so im thinking romance in terms of orbital distances in a solar system
is like a really great metaphorical model
the sun is that fuckin fire, then its like some molten shit, then theres like some earth shit thats just far away enough, and then theres like mars, which used to be earth shit but now is dead, and then it turns into like not-tangible gases, and then it turns into a chunk of ice that isnt even a planet anymore once u get to pluto
so now im like at mars, and i suspect in a couple weeks it'll be like saturn, and so on
and then ill completely get out of this solar system and find another sun and its just gonna be a beautiful mess again and its great
but just thinking about this all at the spatiousness scale of planetary orbits just puts alot of the shit in perspective in a less panicky or claustrophobic way

oh yeah beaut
I like that a lot
very much
because also galaxies and universes are exploding and drifting and changing and there are black holes
this gives a nice circle of life thing to love except it's a little bit more mysterious and mystical and incomprehensible of a metaphor
I do feel like you gotta stop taking the spaceship out for rides so often though
you know? like keep it in the garage a little but more frequently
